'WhatsApp has also rolled out the feature to listen to voice notes before sending them. Today, WhatsApp is rolling out an improvement of the feature, letting you pause and resuming voice recordings," WAbeta info said in a report.

According to the report, there is a new pause button (in the previous version, there was a stop icon) that allows you to pause the voice note. In this situation, you can listen to the voice note before sending it, you can delete the voice note or you can resume the recording. This feature is already available on WhatsApp for iOS and the availability on WhatsApp beta for Android will be announced soon.

In related news, WhatsApp is reportedly planning to add a few new features to the app - two new pencils to the in-built media editor and a new Blur feature.

The WABeta Info, a website that tracks WhatsApp, took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote: "WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.3.5: what's new? WhatsApp is working on two new drawing tools: 2 new pencils and a blur tool, for a future update!"

WhatsApp is adding two new pencils to the in-built media editor. While a pencil has been there to draw over images and screenshots before users send them, the only control offered so far was color customization. Now, users will also be able to choose between three sizes as well.
