WhatsApp update: In good news for WhatsApp users around the globe, the Meta-owned messaging application is reportedly working on few major updates to improve the overall experience on its platform. At present, WhatsApp is working on multiple updates including - larger chat group, blocking screenshots on 'View Once' feature, sharing documents with caption Premium subscription and more.

- WhatsApp is rolling out the ability to add up to 1,024 participants to groups. This feature is rolling out to some lucky beta testers on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS this week. 

- WhatsApp has also started testing a new feature for Android users that would help users to share documents with a caption. This new feature is expected to be rolled out soon for all users

-  WhatsApp is releasing screenshot blocking for view once images and videos to some beta testers. The ability is available for some beta testers that install the latest beta from the Play Store.

-  WhatsApp has started releasing Premium subscription plans for certain businesses. The prices are yet to be revealed and this will likely be different for different regions.  

WhatsApp has released a new beta version for Windows with a sidebar and the ability to reply to statuses for beta testers. After installing this update, an app sidebar shows up and users can now reply to status update

Since this is a beta version, you still cannot create a new status update in this build but maybe it will be possible in the future since the ability to reply to status updates has been implemented after a short time. The platform added the features to react to messages using emojis and to view status updates in August this year. WhatsApp is also developing new tools to give admins more control over these larger groups in the future, such as a list of pending participants and an approval system.
