According to WABetainfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp, the messaging platform had submitted the update through the Android Play Store Beta Program bringing the version up to 2.21.9.2. WhatsApp is working to redesign the chat shortcuts in the “Business Info” section of its WhatsApp Business for Android app.  This feature is still under development and there is no word on when this feature will be available in the app.

“WhatsApp is starting to roll out, for specific beta testers, another redesigned element: the header for the Disappearing Messages section. WhatsApp is releasing this small change today, for certain beta users. More users will receive it in the next updates,” WABetainfo said.

Earlier, WhatsApp has introduced a new sticker pack to observe ‘Earth Day.’ “To celebrate Earth Day, we created a sticker pack that highlights steps you can take to protect our planet and drive progress,” tweeted WhatsApp with a brief video of the stickers that will be available in the pack, the company said.

According to the messaging platform, the stickers give people a conversational and fun way to remind one another to take action to protect the planet and celebrate these actions in an environmentally-friendly way.

They were created by Juan Molinet, an Argentinian illustrator who lives in Berlin, and who is passionate about raising awareness of climate change. An image of the new sticker pack, how it can be used and a short video of it can be found here. These stickers are available to download and use globally within WhatsApp, and can also be accessed here.
