WhatsApp tricks: Here's how to delete WhatsApp chats on Android, iOS mobile phones
Even though there is no limit to send messages and media on WhatsApp, this WhatsApp limits your chats if the inbox is exhausted.
WhatsApp update: Facebook-owned WhatsApp is undoubtedly one of the famous instant messaging platforms at present. This messaging application made it easier to connect with family and friends by allowing users to chat with up to multiple people at once.
Even though there is no limit to send messages and media on WhatsApp, this WhatsApp limits your chats if the inbox is exhausted. In such cases, the app asks you to clear or delete some chat history. Another reason to clear chat history is also to eliminate critical, personal information. So, if you are planning to clear your chat history on WhatsApp, here’s how you can do it.

For Android smartphones - Delete an individual chat: Open WhatsApp, in the Chats tab, tap and hold the individual chat you want to delete. Tap Delete > DELETE.
Delete a group chat: To delete a group chat, you first need to exit the group. In the Chats tab, tap and hold the group chat you want to delete. Tap More options > Exit group > EXIT. Tap and hold the group chat again, then tap Delete > DELETE.
Delete all chats at once - In the Chats tab, tap More options > Settings > Chats > Chat history. Tap Delete all chats. Individual chats and status updates will be deleted from your Chats tab. However, group chats will still be visible in your Chats tab, and you’ll still be part of them unless you exit them.
For iOS - In the Chats tab, swipe left on the chat you want to delete, Tap More > Delete Chat > Delete Chat. Alternatively, tap Edit in the top corner of the Chats tab > Select the chat you wish to delete > Tap Delete > Delete Chat.
To delete a group chat, you first need to exit the group: In the Chats tab, swipe left on the group chat you want to delete.
Tap More > Exit group > Exit group.
Swipe left on the group chat > tap Delete Group > Delete Group. Delete all chats at once. Go to WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Delete All Chats. Enter your phone number > tap Delete All Chats.
Individual chats will be deleted from your Chats tab. However, group chats will still be visible in your Chats tab, and you’ll still be part of them unless you exit them.
