WhatsApp may bring new animated heart emojis for Android, iOS users

The Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp is reportedly working on introducing more animated heart emojis in different colour options for both Android and iOS users.
According to a new report from WABetaInfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp, revealed that the new emojis will show the same beating heart animation in different colour options. The report also shares a screenshot that suggests that the emojis will come in green, yellow, orange, purple, black, white and blue colour options.

New emojis
As per the report, these emojis will be available on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS. It further adds “since this feature is under development, it’s not available to beta testers now, but you can discover a preview here”. WhatsApp has recently been spotted to be working on its Call and Status screen on the iOS version to inform users about the end-to-end encryption.
New interface for voice calls
In related news, WhatsApp is also working on a new interface for voice calls. As per a report by WABetaInfo, a screenshot shows that WhatsApp is redesigning the interface for a future update in order to make it more compact and modern, organising the available space.
The new redesign will look nice especially while placing group voice calls. "Even if the screenshot was taken on WhatsApp for iOS, WhatsApp is planning the same redesign for a future update of WhatsApp beta for Android as well," the report said.
Voice Message Preview
