Once live, this feature will empower users to curate a list of their most frequently accessed chats, streamlining their messaging experience. This move aims to provide users with greater control over their conversations, separating regular contacts from the rest. Think of it as an evolution of the existing chat pinning feature, offering more flexibility and convenience.

WABetainfo has shared a preview image showcasing the upcoming Favourites chat feature on WhatsApp. With this functionality, users can easily identify and access their key conversations and group chats. Simply by selecting the "Add to Favourites" option, users can designate specific chats to their Favourites list. Moreover, users will have the flexibility to remove, rearrange, and customize their favourites according to their preferences.

WhatsApp is not stopping at just one enhancement. Alongside the Favourites chat feature, the platform is gearing up to introduce several other exciting updates. Among these is a significant revamp to the Communities tab, which will empower users to set reminders for upcoming events. This enhancement aims to assist community administrators in keeping participants engaged and informed.

Furthermore, WhatsApp is extending its support for voice messages in Status updates, doubling the duration from thirty seconds to a full minute. These updates reflect WhatsApp's commitment to continually improving its platform and providing users with enhanced communication tools.
