PUBG vs FAU-G: Which game will launch in India first?

This year is turning out to be a tough one for gaming enthusiasts. Those who prefer consoles are still waiting for an official announcement around the India launch of PlayStation 5. The most awaited gaming title of the year – CyberPunk 2077 has been delayed multiple times already. For smartphone gamers, the wait continues for the launch of much-awaited games like PUBG Mobile India and FAU-G, both announced some weeks back.  

"Good always triumphs over evil,the light will always conquer the darkness.May victory bless Fearless And United Guards, our FAU-G. Launching in November 2020!" NCORE Games had tweeted on the occasion of Dusshera. This suggested that the game can launch around Diwali. There were other reports claiming November 26 launch for the game. However, there has been no official word on the same.  

Developed by nCORE Games, FAU-G announced by Bollywood star Akshay Kumar in September, has been pushed to the background due to the build-up around PUBG Mobile India.

The full form of FAU-G is Fearless And United-Guards and it will be war game and in a proper battlefield. The game has been developed by nCORE Games, a Bengaluru based mobile games and interactive entertainment company. Akshay Kumar, in his tweet, stated that the players would also learn about the soldiers' sacrifices and that 20 per cent of the net revenue generated will be donated to the ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ trust. 

Meanwhile, PUBG Corp recently registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs website with ownership details and address. The company has also tied up with Microsoft Azure. It is a cloud computing service created by Microsoft for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and services through Microsoft-managed data centres.  

Microsoft Azure manages the computing and storage of resources on Microsoft’s data centres and this is what primarily keeps the data, such as servers and user information, secure.
