PUBG Mobile India release: After several reports recently hinted that PUBG Mobile India and its other versions may relaunch in India, millions of PUBG players here are now feeling hopeful for the return of game after its ban. On September 2, 2020, the Indian government banned PUBG Mobile due to data privacy concerns.

However, in a major new development reported by AFK Gaming, Kumar Krishnan Iyer and Hyunil Sohn have been registered as the directors of PUBG India Pvt. Ltd. Hyunil Sohn is the Head Of Corporate Development at KRAFTON Inc. who gave an update on the relaunch of PUBG Mobile during the India Gaming Conference 2021.

"I cannot tell the timing or anything because we don’t know yet. But what I can tell you is, we care about the Indian market greatly and also that’s how I get to know you and get to know friends in the Indian gaming industry now. So definitely, we will work hard to make it happen. This only implies that the corp. has already begun the process of regaining lost ground," Hyunil Sohn was quoted as saying by AFK Gaming.

Meanwhile, PUBG Corp has also posted job openings for Investment and Strategy Analyst on LinkedIn. The post is meant for the newly erected PUBG Mobile India subsidiary. The parent company of PUBG Corporation, Krafton, recently made an investment of Rs 164 crore in India’s Nodwin Gaming.

PUBG Mobile New State India release update: According to a report from insidesport, the PUBG: New State was available for the users to pre-register on Google Play Store for every country except India. The game’s publisher had also said that since their focus is on relaunching the game in India, they will not open the pre-registration for PUBG: New State in the country.

PUBG Mobile Korea  India release update: The report also revealed that PUBG Mobile is restricting access of the PUBG Mobile Korean version from India, starting July. The Korean version was the best alternative for Indian players to access the game after the ban.
