Owning a car is still considered a status symbol and this has apparently led to unprecedented growth in the number of vehicles on the road. While having your own car gives a sense of independence and safety, it also comes with several inconveniences. According to Amit Lakhotia, Park+ identified daily hassles for car owners like finding a parking spot, tracking challans, FASTag recharges, car cleaning, car maintenance and made it effortless.

"We took up car ownership-related problems, which no one was ready or willing to solve- be it parking, be it access control (car security), be it car maintenance, organizing car cleaning (digitally). We launched the app in 2021 and were quickly able to identify gaps within the car ownership ecosystem, during the covid pandemic. Our hypothesis at that time was that car ownership-centric services were fragmented and the overall experience was underwhelming at best," Lakhotia added.

The company claims that it has the largest community of car owners in India with 60 lakh cars on the Park+ platform.

Park+ helps the core service providers including auto OEMs, car insurers, after-sales service providers, maintenance providers, car dealers and banks to serve the end users in a seamless manner.
