BGMI latest update: Over 58k Battlegrounds Mobile India accounts banned for this reason

BGMI latest update: The South Korean gaming company Krafton on Tuesday announced that they have permanently banned 58,611 Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) accounts between December 20 to December 26. The company on its website mentioned the entire list of banned accounts, who, it said, "have tried to ruin the game".

The move was aimed at keeping the game fair and fun for everyone, the company said.

"Battlegrounds Mobile India will strive to implement strong sanctions with the ultimate goal of eradicating the use of illegal programmes in order to provide you a pleasant gaming environment," Krafton said in a blog post.

The gaming company also keeps on regularly banning accounts of such agents. Recently, Krafton banned over 99,583 accounts for using illegal programs between December 13 and December 19 and 1,42,000 players from the popular battle royale game between December 6 and December 12.

 The company has said that it strives to implement strong sanctions inside of the game to promote fair play. It has the ultimate goal of eradicating the use of illegal programs to provide players with a pleasant gaming environment.

Krafton has had a past of banning players if they download the game from illegal channels or have illegal auxiliary programmes running on the device. The company before implementing a ban first sends players a notice and allows them to perform repairs to remove any unwanted data.

In other news, BGMI will shut down data transfers from PUBG Mobile on December 31, so if you are one who has not transferred data then better be fast.
