After launching the official full version of the Battlegrounds Mobile India game in the country, the game developer Krafton has shared a notice on the official Battlegrounds Mobile India website that stated that the data transfer service from PUBG Mobile to BGMI will temporarily shut down from July 6 until further notice.

The developer didn’t clearly mention the reason except for citing some maintenance that is needed and hence players will not be able to transfer data from PUBG Mobile to Battlegrounds Mobile India from next week. Krafton said that it is “providing data transfer service in order to safely secure the data of fans from India.”

"A maintenance will proceed upon the data transfer service; accordingly, we'd like to inform you that the transfer service will be temporarily shut down during the period indicated as below: We apologize for the inconvenience upon temporary shutdown of the data transfer. Those who wish to transfer their data, please do so before July 6th," the company stressed.

Meanwhile, Battlegrounds Mobile India has finally hit the Google Play Store. While the game was initially made available to download on Android phones in early access, it has now been officially released for the general public.
