The buzz and excitement around Battlegrounds Mobile India is rising ahead of the release of the country. Though it must be noted that the developer of the game Krafton has not yet made any official announcement of the game in India, as per various media reports and based on various teasers and leaks, the fans are pinning their hopes for the release of the game on June 18, 2021. It must also be noted that the pre-registration for the game has started from May 18, 2021 for the Android devices. Before the release of the game in the country, there are certain factors that the gaming fans must be aware of.

Device requirement

The device requirement for Battlegrounds Mobile India is a common query among the gaming fans. According to the official Google Play Store description of Battlegrounds Mobile India, here are the system requirements to run the game - “BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA recommended system requirements: Android 5.1.1 or above and at least 2 GB RAM memory.”

Launch soon!

According to a BGR India report, new Battlegrounds Mobile India teasers are being released almost every other day. The latest one hints that the launch is 'getting closer'. The launch date is still a mystery; however, it is expected that possibly Krafton will announce the launch date of the game in the country very soon.

Glimpse of UAZ

Recently, a video eased on the official YouTube channel of the game, Krafton has teased a glimpse of UAZ with the text "Do you remember? Driving around the hills of Erangel". The UAZ is a Jeep-like off-road SUV with two different configurations - one with a covered top and another without. The SUV has space to seat four players, or a full squad.

Erangle Map

In an earlier teaser, it was revealed that Battlegrounds Mobile India will now come with an 'Erangle Map'. In an earlier teaser, there was an image featuring familiar-looking water tank and the mention of the name ‘Erangle'. This confirmed the presence of the map which was also a feature of PUBG Mobile but there is a twist in the tale as the map was spelt 'Erangel' in PUBG Mobile. The reason behind spelling the name in a different way is possibly Krafton's way of detaching itself from the banned game.

Notably, the Indian government had banned PUBG Mobile India on September 2, 2020, due to data privacy concerns under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act.

Ready for 'Chicken Dinner'?

Recently, a post from the Twitter handle of Battlegrounds Mobile India have created a lot of hype among the gaming fans and enthusiasts. The teaser also wants people to get ready for their ‘chicken dinner'. Now, it is not unknown to the PUBG fans that ‘chicken dinner' is a popular PUBG Mobile term used when a player or team wins the match. The teaser has left the gaming fans excited as well as nostalgic at the same time.

Not yet available for iOS devices

It must also be noted that as of now though the pre-registration for the game for Android device is going on at Google Play store, there has been no official details regrading the release of the iOS version of the game. It is expected that the Battlegrounds Mobile India will be launched in the Android version first and later will be followed by an iOS version. The game has achieved a milestone as recently Krafton has announced that they have reached a big milestone of 20 million pre-registration for Battlegrounds Mobile India on Google Play store.

Parental guidance for those below 18 years of age

As per a DNA report, Battlegrounds Mobile India will have certain restrictions for the children and teenagers. The players who are under 18 years of age will have new restrictions in Battlegrounds Mobile India and they will need to register for the game with a phone number that belongs to their parents or guardian. This will happen through mobile number verification; however, the exact method is not available right now.
