According to WABetaInfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp, when this feature will be released to beta testers, profile photos of other group participants will show up next to all incoming messages within the group chat in a future update of the app.

"As happens with the reaction preview, there is no way to disable this feature since it will always be enabled by default for all group participants and there is no switch for it, the report said. This feature is under development, so it is unclear when WhatsApp will release the changes to people," WABetaInfo reported.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp is working on hiding the online status on WhatsApp Desktop beta. The messaging application has also developed the new privacy setting on WhatsApp Desktop beta, where you will be able to choose who can see when you are online on WhatsApp very soon.

'Last month, we announced that the feature was under development on WhatsApp beta for iOS and WhatsApp beta for Android but no news was available for the web/desktop client… until today. In fact, the dev team just finished to develop this feature on WhatsApp Desktop beta," WABetaInfo said in a report.

The screenshot WABetaInfo in its report shows that his section is finally ready even if the feature is still marked as under development. When WhatsApp will release the ability to manage this setting to Android, iOS, and Desktop, only people you choose can see when you’re online on WhatsApp.
