WhatsApp New Feature: Good news! the Meta-owned messaging application WhatsApp is reportedly bringing the most need feature on its platform soon. The messaging application is likely releasing an undo feature to recover messages deleted for you by mistake (within a few seconds). 

"WhatsApp is rolling out a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.22.18.13. This new new feature under development helps users recover their messages deleted by mistake," WABetaInfo , a website that tracks WhatsApp future updates, reported. 

According to the report, it seems that this feature has been developed after posting a tweet about how you can feel when you want to delete a message for everyone but you wrongly deleted it only for you. Now, WhatsApp is finally rolling out this feature to some lucky beta users that can finally recover their messages deleted by mistake:

In screenshots shared by WABetaInfo, a snackbar shows up when an attempt to delete a message for you is detected: in this case, you have a few seconds to recover the message if you previously wanted to delete it for everyone. This feature has been released to some lucky beta testers after installing the latest beta update from the Play Store.

"If the snackbar doesn’t show up when you use “delete for me” and you’ve already installed the latest beta, it means your WhatsApp account is still not eligible to get the feature," the report noted.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp recently added three new update in its growing list of privacy features that users can take advantage of and that provide even more layers of protection, giving users more control over their messages. During the announcement, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that WhatsApp is bringing three new privacy features to users, giving them more control over their conversations and added layers of protection when messaging.
