As global regulations like CSRD, PEFCR, SBTi, and BRSR tighten sustainability requirements, the fashion industry is grappling with challenges around Scope 3 carbon emission tracking and ESG compliance. GreenStitch, co-founded by Narendra Makwana and Arpit Samdani, is stepping up to solve these issues by providing a data-driven platform.

The platform integrates seamlessly with enterprise ERP and PLM systems, consolidating data from multiple supply chain tiers, identifying gaps, and using AI to fill missing details.

Highlighting the platform’s potential, Sunder Nookala, general partner at Equirus InnovateX Fund, noted that GreenStitch’s solution comes at a crucial time, addressing the growing consumer demand for sustainable fashion while meeting stricter regulatory requirements. He emphasised the platform’s robust blend of academic research and policy expertise, positioning it as a leader in Scope 3 emissions reporting.

Vikram Gupta, founder and managing partner at IvyCap Ventures, echoed similar sentiments, stating that GreenStitch aligns with the firm's vision of supporting transformative ventures. He highlighted how the platform enables brands to effectively measure and manage their carbon footprint, paving the way for a more sustainable future in the fashion industry.

Beyond tracking emissions, GreenStitch offers tools for decarbonisation and predictive modeling, enabling brands to evaluate how design and supplier choices affect emissions before production even begins.

Arpit Samdani, co-founder and CTO, said, "We are creating a centralised climate data platform for the fashion industry. Our goal is to empower sustainability managers to take clear, effective actions to reduce Scope 3 emissions, measure impact, and progress effectively toward Net Zero."
