Centre Court Capital leads investment in Quidich Innovation Labs
The broadcast technology company, co-founded by Rahat Kulshreshtha and Gaurav Mehta, is looking to expand its footprint across new sporting ventures in diverse geographies with the investment through a Series A funding round.
The venture capital firm, Centre Court Capital, has led an investment round in Quidich Innovation Labs, a sports broadcast technology company, according to a press note. The investment amount remained undisclosed.
The broadcast technology company, co-founded by Rahat Kulshreshtha and Gaurav Mehta, is looking to expand its footprint across new sporting ventures in diverse geographies with the investment through a Series A funding round.
Centre Court Capital is aiming at backing founders who are working towards expanding the boundaries of sports and gaming.
Mustafa Ghouse, general partner at Centre Court Capital, said, "As sports broadcast technology undergoes a sector-wide transformation, broadcasters and leagues are searching for partners to guide them into a new era. In 2019, Quidich pivoted to specialise exclusively in sports, beginning with cricket, after working on enhancing live sports broadcasts. The company sees a unique opportunity in the sports media rights market which is valued at $56 billion, it stated in the press release.
In the past, Quidich has established itself as a technology partner to clients such as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), International Cricket Council (ICC), Sky Sports and Sunset+Vine in the UK, Channel 7 in Australia, SuperSport in South Africa amongst others.

The latest product offering of Quidich is HypeReality, developed in collaboration with the ICC. The product leverages the technological expertise of the partner to transform the spectator experience by bringing the electrifying atmosphere of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 directly into homes worldwide with the Apple Vision Pro, the latest in immersive content technology.
