Astrotalk, an online astrology platform, has recently clinched a substantial investment of Rs 55 crores ($7 million) from Bengaluru-based growth-stage fund Elev8 Venture Partners. This infusion of capital marks a significant milestone for the company, forming part of a larger funding round totaling Rs 110 crores. Elev8 Venture Partners, a $200 million first-stage growth fund operated by South Korea's KB Investment, has now invested in Astrotalk for the second time, underlining their confidence in the platform's potential.
Elev8 Venture Partners, renowned for its strategic investments in high-growth Indian startups poised for global expansion, targets sectors spanning B2B SaaS, enterprise tech, consumer tech, fintech, and healthcare tech.
In an official statement, Astrotalk revealed, "The total investment for this round amounts to Rs 110 crores ($14 million), with Alley8 leading the charge by investing Rs 55 crores, inclusive of both primary and secondary investments." Astrotalk plans to leverage this capital infusion to diversify its offerings, making them accessible in regional languages and formats to bolster its market presence. Additionally, the company aims to scale its workforce, enhancing its global footprint.
