VCats join hands with Kanpur Angel Network, extends its reach towards North India

India's first integrated incubator, Venture Catalyst, is outreaching and expanding towards North India at an accelerated speed. Post its UP chapter in September 2018, VCats now has joined hands with Kanpur Angel Network (KAN), one of the oldest and most active investor in the country. It is a strategic and crucial move for Venture Catalyst as this collaboration will allow them to have a strong footing in the Uttar Pradesh region of North India. 

Uttar Pradesh, one of the largest states in the country, is thriving and rich in small business ideas, that can be scaled upwards with the aid provided by experts from Venture Catalyst. Post the partnership, it is expected to fuel the growth of many such small businesses and start ups in the region. What could be better for a start up than one accelerator? Well, two. Moreover, the calculated move to associate with the city of Kanpur will bring the focus back on the city which was once known as 'Manchester of the East' and more recently, known as 'the Leather City' and also 'the Biscuit Factory of India', for the right reasons.
