Uber introduces 'UberFLEET' app for fleet partners in 29 cities across India

Taxi-hailing app Uber on Tuesday launched an android app named 'UberFLEET' for its fleet partners in 29 cities across India. 

“ 'UberFLEET' app allows fleet partners with driver positioning, helping drivers achieve maximum performance and overall, run their fleets more efficiently. Uber is at forefront of micro-entrepreneurship opportunity creation in India and 'UberFLEET' app is yet another step towards encouraging and support the entrepreneurial ambitions of our fleet partners",” Uber India head of engineering, Apurva Dalal, said in a press release. 

The 'UberFLEET' app is designed to improve the overall productivity for fleet owners by making the process of managing drivers more efficient and reducing their downtime, cited the company.

The new app comes with features such as 'Live Map' which help fleet partners track the driver's location, trip drop off point and location where they last went offline from. 

Similarly, it has 'Driver Performance Dashboard' feature to track daily and weekly trips, earnings (cash and non-cash), and ratings; manage driver partner’s performance. 

It also has 'Driver Status Logs' so that the fleet owners can check the logs for when their drivers go online and offline. 

Uber fleet-partners can download the app from Google Play Store and can login into the app using the same login credentials as they use on the web dashboard or can simply visit partners.uber.com

Uber is the US-based taxi-hailing app and at present its service is available in 450 plus cities across 73 countries.
