Online video streaming platform Dekkho raises $1.2 million in seed funding
Dekkho announced on Monday that it has raised funds worth $1.2 million (nearly Rs 7.98 crore) from seven marquee angel investors in seed funding round in India.
Dekho is an app and web-based video streaming platform founded in March 2016 by Tanay Desai and Vinay Pillai.
The company offers a viewing experience with content sourced from leading content providers from India and abroad.
The platform consumes less internet bandwidth, offline viewing facility and offers the services free of cost.
The online platform currently offers 12,000 hours of programming with direct partnership with top digital channels like Sony Music, Times Group, Culture Machine, among others.
Besides, it offers content from national and international artists such as Coldplay, Beyonce, Badshah, Papon, ArjunKanungo, Micheal Jackson, etc.,
