Ola brings BMW to its platform; rides begin at Rs 250
India's taxi-hailing app Ola on Monday announced its partnership with BMW India for plying BMW cars under its luxury category.
Commenting on the partnership, Ola's chief operating officer Pranay Jivrajka, said in a statement, “We are delighted to partner with BMW, a brand synonymous with luxury in India. Through this partnership, Ola will strengthen its presence in the luxury mobility segment, an area that we believe has tremendous potential. With the inclusion of BMW cars in Ola fleet, our customers will now have an opportunity to travel in complete luxury at the click of a button."
Ola tweeted as saying,"The pinnacle of luxury now on Ola Lux, welcome on board @bmwindia."

“We are confident that this association will be a game changer in the premium on-demand mobility segment in India. BMW is the most aspirational luxury car brand and through this association, an increasing number of customers will be able to relish the immersive BMW experience," BMW Group India president (act) Frank Schloeder said in a statement.
Ola will induct the BMW cars into its fleet across three cities namely Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru and the service will later be extended to more locations.
Ola Lux is available for booking at a minimum fare of Rs 250 and Rs 20-22 per km.
The company will provide the service under its Ola Lux category. The category also allows customers to book the cars on an hourly basis via its rentals feature.
