Narendra Modi government was sworn-in today at the President House in the presence of around 8,000 guests. As the Modi 2.0 innings starts, the captains of commerce are also ready with their wishlist from the new government. The small and medium business fraternity came forward to share its top five demands from the new Narendra Modi government at the Centre.

Speaking on the wish list of the MSMEs Rajiv Talreja, Serial Entrepreneur, Business Coach and International Author said, "The arrival of the newly elected government; Modi 2.0 looks hopeful for the MSME sector. While it has had its focus on the development of MSMEs and assisting homegrown entrepreneurs during its previous tenure, we hope it will continue its efforts for the current term as well."

Sharing a few expectations from the new government:

1] Renewed efforts towards enhancing the ease of doing business in India;

2] Subsidies for disruptive and innovative products, environment-friendly products, and export-friendly products;

3] Conducting skill-development programs and workshops for entrepreneurs, pertaining to digitisation, industry-specific technologies, and market expansion;

4] Encouraging Government procurement from MSMEs; and

5] Market data-driven initiatives to combat corporate corruption and increase transparency.

So, the above five demands are the major ones that MSMEs are expecting from the Modi 2.0 government to be met this time.
