Edu-tech startup CollegeDekho buys Scholarship Facilitation Services for unknow sum

Education technology startup CollegeDekho has announced the acquisition of Delhi-based student’s guidance overseas business - Scholarship Facilitation Services Pvt. Ltd. (SFS) for an undisclosed amount. Through this acquisition, CollegeDekho is aiming to broaden its students counseling services to help a larger population of students go abroad, the acquirer company said in a statement.

CollegeDekho’s study abroad business operation started in 2017, has already assisted students for admission to countries such Canada, Philippines, Germany, Ukraine and Russia. This acquisition will further strengthen CollegeDekho’s reach out to the students who are looking to study in the US, Europe and South East Asian colleges, it said. CollegeDekho and SFS are aiming to increase their satellite test preparation and counseling centres to 25+ by 2020. 

SFS’s expertise and rich experience is apt for CollegeDekho to build and expand its horizon across the globe, the statement read. Ruchir Arora Co-Founder and CEO, CollegeDekho said, “The core team of SFS have been experts in the international education domain for more than a decade now.
