The Dare to Dream Awards is a special initiative to recognize the contribution of entrepreneurs involved with SMEs towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mission of making India a $5 trillion economy. The Zee Business team visited 24 different cities and organized over about 37 meetings and conferences to select entrepreneurs involved with SMEs. The second edition of the awards was bigger and better because of its Jury, improved transparency and fairness. We reached out to a lot of people leading up to the finale and started the ground work more than 6 months in advance.

Notably, the Zee Business Dare to Dream Business Person of the Year award was won by Rahul Gautam of Sheela Foam Ltd. The award for Inspirational Leader went to Gulshan Haresh Bakhtiani of Wellness Forever. On the other hand, Woman Entrepreneur of the year award was won by M.R. Jyothy of Jyothy Labs Limited.

The purpose of the award is to recognize such people who are away from media headlines, but they are ready to contribute in a big way through their achievements. Notably, young entrepreneurs are aware of the technology and its contribution to achieving their dream, therefore, taking advantage of the government's technological initiatives like digital India, they have sought to make massive contributions by making a success of their start-ups and more through their hard work and enterprise.
