Planning to buy iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 plus but don't know what to do with old iPhone? E-commerce major Flipkart has introduced an upgrade program for iPhone users.
What is the upgrade program?
According to the official website, the users of iPhone 4, 5, 5s, 5C, SE, 6, 6Plus, 6S and 6S Plus will now get an addition exchange value on their old phone if they upgrade it to an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus.
Explaining with an example, Fonearena, said, for instance, a customer will get an exchange price of Rs 16,500 if he/she exchange old iPhone 5S with the storage capacity of 256 GB for an iPhone 7 as against Rs 4,500 earlier. Which means an additional Rs 12,000 on exchange.
How is it calculated?
On official website, Flipkart showed the calculation. For example, you have iPhone 6 with 32 GB storage capacity and you want to swap it with iPhone 7 with the same storage capacity, this is how it will be calculated:
Current MRP of iPhone 7 (32GB): Rs 60,000
Exchange offer 5% off: Rs 3000
Extra 15% off: Rs 9000
Exchange value of iPhone 6: Rs 9,200
Upgrade price: Rs 38,800
