Online movie ticket booking website BookMyShow has contributed 33% to Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's starrer Dangal's overall India business on the first day of its release.
"At the end of first day, BookMyShow contributed as high as 33% to the film’s overall India business and expects the movie to continue to do extremely well over the weekend," cited the company in a statement on Saturday.
"BookMyShow alone contributed one-third to Dangal’s total first day India box office collection," it added.
Dangal, which made close to Rs 30 crore in India (across all languages) has received rave reviews and BookMyShow continues to witness unprecedented bookings for the film, it said.
