154 listed SME cos raise Rs 1,193 crore from market: BSE
BSE was the first stock exchange to get the approval from Sebi.
The 154 companies listed on BSE SME platform have raised Rs 1192.90 crore from the market and the total market capitalization of these companies is at Rs 13,892.99 crore, BSE said in a press release.
The stock exchange, which holds 90% of the market share, on Thursday informed that it has listed its 154th SME company on the exchange i.e. DRA Consultants Limited. The company came out with an initial public offering of 29,60,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each, aggregating to Rs 296 lakhs.
On 18 May, 2010, the regulatory body, Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had came out with detailed guidelines to launch SME Exchange or Platform.
BSE was the first stock exchange to get the approval from Sebi and launched its SME platform on 13 March, 2012.
