The thematic mutual fund is the best performer in terms of annualised SIP returns in three years among all SBI mutual funds. The fund has had a 58.25 per cent XIRR in three years. The fund's lump sum returns in the same period are 42.74 per cent. The fund has assets under management (AUM) of Rs 3,695 crore, while its net asset value (NAV) is Rs 37.58. It has had a 13.76 per cent annualised lump sum return (CAGR) since its inception in January 2013.

SBI Infrastructure Fund
The fund has given 43.90 per cent annualised SIP returns in the three-year period. Its lump return in the same period is 33.25 per cent. The fund's assets under management (AUM) are Rs 3,851 crore, while its net asset value (NAV) is Rs 57.09. Benchmarked against NIFTY Infrastructure TRI, the fund has had a 17.70 per cent CAGR since its launch in January 2013. At an expense ratio of 1.17 per cent, the fund's lump sum minimum investment is Rs 5,000, while its minimum SIP investment is Rs 500.

The fund's 91.21 per cent investments are in equity, while 8.79 per cent are in others. The fund has 37.65 per cent investments in large-cap stocks and 33.66 per cent in mid-cap stocks. In its portfolio of 44 stocks, the fund's main investments are in RIL, Bharti Airtel, Indian Energy Exchange, and Larsen & Toubro.

This is SBI Mutual House's Equity Linked Saving Scheme (ELSS). The fund has given 40.53 per cent annualised SIP returns, while 29.74 per cent lump sum returns in the three-year period. The fund's AUM is Rs 25,738 crore, while its NAV is Rs 471.43. The fund has given a CAGR of 18.22 per cent since its inception in January 2013.

Benchmarked against BSE 500 TRI, the fund has a minimum lump sum investment of Rs 1,000 and the minimum SIP investment of Rs 500. At an expense ratio of 0.93 per cent, the fund has 90.62 per cent of its investment in equity and 9.38 per cent in others. Out of it, 51.24 per cent is in large-cap stock. In a portfolio of 61 stocks, the fund has GE T&D India, HDFC Bank, Mahindra and Mahindra, and ICICI Bank as its main stocks.

The fund that follows the contra strategy of investment has given per cent 37.35 annualised SIP returns in three years. Its asset base is worth Rs 34,366 crore, while its NAV rate is Rs 424.53. Benchmarked against BSE 500 TRI, the fund has given 18.48 per cent CAGR since its launch in January 2013. With an expense ratio of 0.61 per cent, the fund has Rs 5,000 as the minimum lump sum investment and Rs 500 as the minimum SIP investment.
SBI Contra Direct Plan-Growth
The fund has 91.37 per cent of its investments in equity, 5.47 per cent in debt, and 3.16 per cent in others. In equity, 48.32 per cent of its investments are in large-cap stocks. In its portfolio of 94 stocks, the fund has Nifty Bank, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and GAIL (India) as the main investments.
A Rs 27,500 monthly SIP in the fund has grown to Rs 17.04 lakh.
