Top 10 flexi-cap mutual funds with above-benchmark returns in 5 years
As the name suggests, flexi-cap mutual funds are known for their flexibility, where a fund manager can invest in large-, mid- and small-cap companies and change the combination of the stocks according to the performance of these firms. As per Association of Mutual Funds in India's (AMFI) classification of mutual funds, flexi caps are equity funds with at least 65% of their investments in equity and equity-related instruments. Unlike multi-cap funds, flexi caps don't have to maintain a certain percentage of a particular m-cap companies.
