This initiative will provide a birthday gift to one crore women in Odisha. Under the Subhadra Yojana, each eligible woman will receive Rs 10,000 annually, distributed in two installments.

The scheme is expected to benefit at least 1 crore women in Odisha, providing financial assistance of Rs 50,000 over a period of five years, from 2024-25 to 2028-29. Approximately Rs 55,825 crore will be allocated for this initiative.

Current Registration Status

Current Registration Status

As of now, around 60 lakh women have registered for the Subhadra Yojana. Women who completed their registration by September 15 will receive their first installment on September 17, coinciding with the launch of the scheme by PM Modi.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

The Subhadra Yojana will be available to women in Odisha aged 21 to 60. Eligible women will receive R 10,000 annually under the scheme.

Exclusions

Exclusions

Women who receive Rs 18,000 or more annually from any government scheme or scholarship, or who are taxpayers, are not eligible for this scheme.
