PM Kisan Yojana 18th installment: The 18th installment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's flagship scheme - PM Kisan Yojana - has been released today. The amount – Rs 2,000 – has been deposited into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on Saturday, October 5. In total, the government transferred more than Rs 20,000 crore to over 9.4 crore farmers.

What is PM KISAN Yojana?
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, also known as PM Kisan Yojana, is a central sector scheme fully funded by the Government of India. Under the scheme, all land-holding farmer families are provided an income support of Rs 6000 per year. These funds are directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in three equal installments of Rs 2000.

According to the PM Kisan FAQs, if beneficiaries do not receive the payment of installment pertaining to that 4-monthly period and subsequent installments for any reason, except due to rejection for falling within the exclusion criteria, they are entitled to receive the benefits of all the due installments as and when the cause of delay is removed/resolved.
PM Kisan Yojana 18th installment: Check beneficiary list first
To check the name on the list, beneficiaries need to follow the below-given steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of PM Kisan Yojana - https://pmkisan.gov.in.
Step 2: Find the option of 'Farmers Corner', available on the homepage.
Step 3: Within the Farmers Corner section, click on the Beneficiaries List option.
Step 4: Select State, District, Sub District, Block, and Village from the drop-down list.
Step 5: Click on 'Get Report'.
Step 6: The complete list of beneficiaries will appear, in which you can check your name.
