PM Kisan Scheme: PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is an important scheme for the farmers in India. The scheme provides them financial assistance to promote farming and agricultural activism. The scheme aids farmers in meeting financial needs in purchasing various inputs to ensure proper crop health and appropriate yield.
PM Kisan Scheme: Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, an amount of Rs 6,000 is transferred directly to the bank account of all the beneficiary farmers every year, due to which till now, an amount of more than Rs 3 lakh crore has been transferred to about 11 crore farmer families. Farmers who are eligible for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi needs to fulfil some criteria to get the 17th instalment, which can be paid in June-July. Or else, they won't get money in their bank accounts.
