PM Kisan 18th Installment: The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana) is a government-funded initiative aimed at supporting farmers across the country. This scheme provides financial assistance to eligible farmers to help meet their agricultural needs and stabilize their income.
Complete Three Essential Tasks
The 18th installment of the PM Kisan scheme is expected to be released soon. To ensure that the Rs 2,000 installment is credited to their accounts without delay, the government has urged farmers to complete three essential tasks.
12 Crore Farmers Will Benefit
Under the PM Kisan Yojana, eligible farmer families receive Rs 6,000 per year, distributed in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. The scheme promotes the digitisation of farming, enabling easier access to financial services for expenses such as seeds and fertilizers. On June 18, 2024, the 17th installment was credited, and approximately 12 crore farmers are expected to benefit from the upcoming 18th installment.
Here are the 3 steps to follow-
To receive the Rs 2,000 from the 18th installment, farmers must complete the following three tasks:
1. Complete eKYC
2. Link Your Bank Account with Aadhaar
3. Verify Your Land Records
How to Complete eKYC
Farmers can easily complete their eKYC from home using the face authentication feature on the "PM Kisan mobile app", available on the Google Play Store. Alternatively, you can visit the official PM Kisan website and select the eKYC option. If you face difficulties, assistance is available at your nearest Common Service Center (CSC).
Link Your Bank Account with Aadhaar
The PM Kisan funds are transferred directly to beneficiaries' accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. It is essential to link your bank account with your Aadhaar number. If you have applied for the scheme, make sure to verify this connection and ensure that the DBT option is activated; otherwise, the Rs 2,000 installment will not be credited.
Verify Your Land Records
Farmers must also ensure that their land records are verified for the PM Kisan Yojana. If land records are not verified, the installment funds may be delayed.
