How to e-verify ITR: The last date to file the Income Tax Return (ITR deadline) is July 31, 2024. It means, you have just three days to complete it. While filing your ITR return, you will also have to e-verify your ITR. As per the Income Tax Department (I-T Department), it is mandatory to e-verify your ITR within 30 days after filing it. The ITR filing process is considered complete only after verification. If you have filed the ITR but have not verified it, it will be declared invalid. Taxpayers can e-verify their ITR through EVC, i.e., the electronic verification code option. You can verify ITR offline as well as online.
