7th pay commission latest news: The government has taken important decision that will help government employees who are incapacitated due to bodily or medical infirmity and retired from government service.

The government has amended the rule that sought minimum qualifying service of 10 years to avail pension. In a significant development recently, the Ministry of Personnel has done away with the minimum qualifying service of 10 years for pension, if a government employee is incapacitated due to bodily or medical infirmity and retired from government service, said a statement issued by the Personnel Ministry.
