For New PAN Card applications, in case of Individual and Hindu Undivided Family or HUF applicants if the communication address is selected as an office, then address proof of the office along with residential address proof is to be submitted to NSDL with effect from applications made on and after November 1, 2009.
However, before filing for PAN card allotment, one must know have the documents certifying his or her identity proof, address proof and date of birth. If a person has Aadhaar Card or Voter ID, it would be enough to establish his or her ID proof, address proof and date of birth as these documents have all this information. But, in case of fresh applicants for PAN Card, the majority of times these documents have been found missing. For such applicants, they can show their matric certificate or marks sheet as proof of their date of birth and ration card as their ID and address proof. In case one doesn't have the ration card too, then he or she can get a certificate from the local MP, MLA, Municipal Councillor or from a Gazetted Officer of central or state government who would use its letterhead attesting the address and photograph of the person that would work as ID and address proof of the PAN Card applicant.
Once your documents are ready, you can download the PAN Card form from the above mentioned NSDL or UTI website and fill it properly and then attach the above-mentioned documents and submit it to the NSDL after paying the charges meant for PAN Card allotment.
Follow these steps to apply for PAN Card online:

3] Fill in the form properly;
