Top SIP Mutual Fund in 10 Years: Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) is a popular method of mutual fund investing for people who don't have a large amount to invest in a lump sum. SIP allows one to invest as little as Rs 100 a month in some of the funds. There is no upper band limit, and one can invest any amount in SIP. It gives compound growth to investors, which increases their money many folds if they stick to their investments in the long term.
SIP also provides rupee cost averaging, where an investor purchases more units of net asset value (NAV) when the market is down and buys less when the market is up.
The difference in the rates of NAVs helps them average out losses in the long run.
In this write-up, we present the seven best-performing SIP mutual funds in the last 10 years and what a Rs 10,000 SIP in each of the funds would have given you in 10 years (based on Value Research data).
