Top SBI Mutual Funds: SBI Mutual Fund is the largest asset management company (AMC) in India in terms of asset under management (AUM). Like many other mutual funds, it also runs a lot of mutual fund schemes. Some of them have given high lump sum as well SIP returns in the last few years. If we go through the performance of five years, SBI PSU Fund, SBI Infrastructure Fund, and SBI Contra Fund have been the top performers. The thematic equity PSU fund has given 41.30 per cent annualised SIP returns (XIRR) in the five years.

Benchmarked against BSE 500 TRI, the fund has an AUM of Rs 2,352 crore, while its net asset value is Rs 35.09.

The fund that was launched in January 2013 has a minimum SIP investment of Rs 500, while the minimum lump sum investment in the fund is Rs 5,000.

It has 90.60 per cent of its investment in equities with 44.68 per cent in large caps, 24.78 in mid caps, and 21.14 per cent in small caps. SBI, Power Grid, NTPC, and Hindustan Copper are the top stocks in its portfolio. 

A Rs 10,000 SIP in the fund in the last five years, or a total investment of Rs 6 lakh, has turned into Rs 16.30 lakh.

A Rs 20,000 SIP in the same fund, or a Rs 12 lakh investment, has given a total of Rs 32.61 lakh in the five-year period.

SBI  Infrastructure Fund

The fund at No. 2 position is a sectoral infra fund which has given 34.77 per cent annualised SIP returns in the five-year period.

It has an AUM of Rs 2,794 crore, while its NAV is worth Rs 51.76. Benchmarked against NIFTY Infrastructure TRI, the 11-year-old fund has a minimum SIP investment of Rs 500, while its minimum lump sum return is Rs 5,000.

The fund's 88.85 per cent investments are in equity with RIL, Bharti Airtel, and Larsen & Toubro as its top holdings. 

A Rs 10,000 SIP in the fund in the last five years has turned into Rs 14.02 lakh.

A Rs 20,000 SIP in the same fund, or a Rs 12 lakh investment, has given a total of Rs 28.05 lakh in the five-year period.

SBI  Contra Fund

The fund that invests in contra theme has given 34.45 per cent annualised return in the five-year period.

Benchmarked against BSE 500 TRI, the fund has an AUM of Rs 29,586 crore, while its NAV is worth Rs 381.16.

The fund has a minimum SIP investment of Rs 500, while its minimum lump sum investment is Rs 5,000.

The fund's 88.87 per cent investments are in equities with 44.52 per cent in large caps, 29.25 per cent in mid caps, and 15.09 per cent in small caps.

HDFC Bank, Gail (India), SBI, and Nifty Bank are its top holdings.

A Rs 10,000 SIP in the fund in the last five years has turned into Rs 13.92 lakh.

A Rs 20,000 SIP in the same fund, or a Rs 12 lakh investment, has given a total of Rs 27.84 lakh in the five-year period.
