SBI has recently tweeted from its official Twitter handle about the process of submitting life certificates via video calls for pensioners. The tweet said, "It only takes a video call! Here’s a good news for our pensioner customers. Now you can submit your Life Certificate through our #VideoLifeCertificate service from the comfort of your space."

Now, in order to submit the life certificate, an SBI customer has to follow some simple steps. They are as follows:
Step 1: The individual will have to login to the official SBI Pension Seva website at pensionseva.sbi
Step 2: Then the individual will have to click on the 'Video LC' option in order to initiative the VLC process
Step 3: Now, the user will have to enter the SBI pension account number
Step 4: Then the user will have to enter the OTP received
Step 5: Then the user will have to read and accept the 'Terms and Conditions' and click on 'Start Journey'
Step 6: The user must keep the original PAN card ready beforehand and click on 'I am ready'
Step 7: Now, the individual will have to grant permission to start the video call
Step 8: The interaction will begin as soon as the SBI official is available. The user must also note that the interaction can be scheduled as per the convenience of the customer.
Step 9: The SBI official will ask the customer to read out the four-digit verification code on the screen
Step 10: Now, the individual will have to show the PAN card so that the SBI official can capture it
Step 11: Finally, the SBI official will then capture the picture of the individual
The pensioners must note that the video life certificate will complete after the above-mentioned steps.
The pensioners must also remember that in case of rejection, the customer will be informed through SMS on his or her registered mobile number and the person will have to visit the pension paying branch or the nearest branch for the submission of the life certificate.
