SBI Net Banking: The State Bank of India has introduced a new feature on the SBI YONO app that will enable bank customers to access passbook details like bank account balance, transactions and more without the SBI YONO login. In fact, SBI net banking users will even be able to execute bank transactions without logging onto SBI YONO app.

The State Bank of India informed about the new feature being added to the YONO app through a tweet and said, "Now check your account balance, view passbook and make transactions without logging in to the app. Bank quick with YONO SBI!"

SBI also provided a YouTube link in the tweet that explains the impact of this new feature being introduced into the YONO SBI App. In that video it says, "Without logging into the SBI YONO app, by clicking on the ‘YONO Quick Pay’, users can transact up to Rs 2,000. The authentication will have to be done through one of the MPIN / Biometric Authentication / Face ID / User ID and Password for this facility."

Here is what changes in the YONO app by SBI post-introduction of the new feature:

1] There will now be a view balance and quick pay option with the login option on the SBI YONO app; and

2] A 6-digit MPIN or biometric authentication/face ID or user ID and password are required to use this facility.

Step by step guide to check balance, m-passbook without YONO SBI login:

1] USE MPIN, use ID and password or biometric login;

2] Click at ‘View Balance’ option to check account balance in the YONO SBI app without logging in;

3] Choose MPIN or User ID and Password or Biometric Authentication or Face ID;

4] Your SBI bank account linked to the YONO SBI app will get authenticated;

5] Then go to the 'View Transaction' option and click there and check your account balance; and

6] With the help of YONO App 'OTP management feature', the SBI customer can now set the limit of their transactions.
