Major Changes from June 1: From SBI home loan to buying a new car, there are several changes that came into effect on June 1, 2022. Here's a list of such changes:
1. SBI's home loan becomes expensive
SBI home loan has become expensive. It has increased by 0.40%. Apart from this, loans linked to EBLR have also become expensive. State Bank informed its customers. HDFC's loan was also 5 bps expensive, 30bps rates were increased in April.
2. Buying a new car is expensive
Buying a car is now also expensive. After almost 3 years, the rates of third-party motor insurance have increased. Now the insurance of a new car has become costlier by 17% - 23%.
3. Gold Hallmarking Mandatory
Apart from this, gold hallmarking has been made mandatory in 32 districts of the country. After the new order, gold hallmarking will be mandatory in 288 districts.
4. Apple Subscription
From June 1, any card can no longer be used for Apple subscriptions.
5. UPI-ATM Cash Withdrawal
ATM cash withdrawal through UPI has started. Now you can withdraw ATM cash through your UPI.
