Well, now one can save time and energy for more important things because of the State Bank of India's (SBI) Automated Deposit cum Withdrawal Machine (ADWM). Recently, the SBI has tweeted from its official Twitter handle suggesting the SBI customers to use the ADWM, the next time one wishes to withdraw cash from an ATM.

SBI has tweeted, "Save your time for more important things. The next time you have to withdraw cash, go for ADWM." The SBI has installed more than 13000 ADWMs across the country. The largest country in the bank stated that most of the customers have used the machine to deposit money, however, it can also be used for withdrawal.

It must be noted that the Cash Deposit Machine, better known as Automated Deposit cum Withdrawal Machine (ADWM) is an ATM like machine that allows an SBI customer to deposit cash directly into his/her account using the ATM cum debit card. One can use this machine to instantly credit one's account without visiting the branch. The transaction receipt also gives the updated account balance. Some of the salient features of this product are as follows:
1) Instant credit of cash deposit into one's own account
2) It is a quick and convenient way to deposit cash
3) One can also deposit cash in your PPF, RD and Loan accounts
4) It must be noted that the ADWMs only accepts denominations of Rs.100, Rs.200, Rs.500 and Rs.2000
One can also use this service to check the current available balance in one's bank account. This service is available on the main option screen after swiping your card. Furthermore, one can also withdraw cash through this machine of SBI as well as of other banks' accounts.
