SBI Amrit Kalash deposit scheme, SBI FD calculator: The State Bank of India (SBI) is one of the most trusted banks in India. This is the reason that saving schemes launched by the bank gets a good response from customers. One such scheme announced by the bank is the SBI Amrit Kalash deposit scheme. Considering the popularity of the scheme, the public sector bank has extended its last date for retail customers.
SBI Amrit Kalash deposit scheme: Rate of Interest
According to the official website of the bank, this 400-day term deposit offers a rate of interest of 7.6 per cent for senior citizens and 7.1 per cent.
"The specific tenor scheme of “400 days” (Amrit Kalash) at a Rate of Interest of 7.10 % w.e.f. 12- April- 2023. Senior Citizens are eligible for a rate of interest of 7.60%,” the bank said on its official website.
SBI Amrit Kalash deposit scheme: Extended Date
The SBI Amrit Kalash scheme was earlier valid till June 30. However, the bank has now extended the date till August 15, 2023. Also, it is to be noted that the scheme was reintroduced in April 2023.

According to the bank, interested customers can book the SBI Amrit Kalash FD scheme through an SBI branch or even via Internet Banking. Also, it can be booked through the SBI YONO app.
SBI Amrit Kalash deposit scheme: Other details
According to the bank, the scheme is applicable to domestic retail term deposits including NRI Rupee Term Deposits below Rs 2 crore. The special fixed deposit scheme is for a period of 400 days and the annualised yield from Amrit Kalash's deposit works out to be 7.29 per cent for general customers at 7.1 per cent interest and 7.82 per cent for senior citizens at a 7.6 per cent interest rate.
