If you face any of the two situations, you don't need to be hopeless. In April 2022, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced cardless cash withdrawals across all bank ATMs.

ZeeBiz brings you the ways through which you can withdraw money even if you have forgotten a debit card.

Steps to withdraw cash from ATM without card

The first step to withdrawing cash without a debit card is to first add beneficiary.

Start by logging in to net banking of your bank account and click on the fund transfer.

It will show the option to add a payee.

Click on the option of adding a beneficiary, and then choose cardless cash withdrawals.

Enter the details of the payee, such as account details, etc.

After filling the details, click on the Send OTP button. You will receive the OTP on your registered mobile number.

Enter the OTP, and the beneficiary account should be activated in 30 minutes.

Once the beneficiary account is activated, go the ATM to withdraw cash.

On the ATM screen, select the ‘cardless cash’ option displayed on the screen.

You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.

On the ATM screen, fill information such as the OTP, beneficiary mobile number, 9-digit order ID, and the transaction amount.

After entering the details, the ATM will validate the information and disburse the money.

Transaction limit

Cardless cash withdrawal requests are allowed for a minimum amount of Rs 100 per transaction and up to a maximum of Rs 10,000 per day or Rs 25,000 per month for a beneficiary.
