PNB reduces home loan interest rates - MCLR slashed | Implemented from June 1
PNB has reduced the 1-year Marginal Cost of Funds Based Lending Rate (MCLR) by 0.05 percent to 7.30 percent. The revised MCLR rates came into effect from June 1, 2021, PNB had said in a regulatory filing.

PNB has reduced the 1-year Marginal Cost of Funds Based Lending Rate (MCLR) by 0.05 percent to 7.30 percent. The revised MCLR rates came into effect from June 1, 2021, PNB had said in a regulatory filing.

The bank has also reduced six-month and three-month tenor MCLR by 0.10 percent. While, one-month, overnight, and three-year MCLRs remained at the same level.
The overnight MCLR TENOR of the bank is 6.65 percent per annum followed by one-month MCLR TENOR at 6.70 percent per annum and three-month MCLR TENOR at 6.80 percent.
As per a report by india.com, the bank has reduced the six-month MCLR TENOR to 7.00 percent while the one-year MCLR TENOR has been reduced at 7.30 percent. PNB has kept three-year MCLR TENOR at 7.60 percent.
The Home Loan Base Rate of the bank has not been changed and remains the same at 8.65 percent, and RLLR at 6.80 percent, according to a report by Zee News.
The Reserve Bank of india (RBI) implemented MCLR system on April 1, 2016, to determine rate of interests for loans.
