PNB Doorstep Banking: BIG RELIEF in cash withdrawal service

To curb the spread of the coronavirus in the country banks are providing several banking services to the customers which can be availed by them sitting at the comfort of their home.

However, to avail these services customers have a pay a small amount. Giving relief to its customers Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced a reduction in the charges of Doorstep Banking facilities.

Now PNB customers will have to pay Rs 50 to avail the cash withdrawal service.

"In view of the Pandemic, cash withdrawal service through Doorstep Banking has been reduced to Rs 50. For more information, log on to: https://psbdsb.in. Now stay in & stay safe!," PNB tweeted.

As per the information provided by the bank, it can be availed by the customers who are using this service through vendors. 

Also, the concession is available for May and June 2021. While the discounted charges are applicable for two cash withdrawals in a month.

How to register for PNB Doorstep Banking Service?

If you want to avail PNB's Doorstep Banking Service, then you will have to get registered for the same. You can follow the below-mentioned steps to get yourself registered:

1. You can register yourself by calling on any of the toll-Free numbers 1800-10-37-188 or 1800-12-13-721.

2. One can also register by visiting the official website at www.psbdsb.in. 

3. Download the DSB mobile app. 

If you are registering via the DBS mobile app then you will have to login and select your bank details. Then provide the OTP that you will receive for validation. As the validation process will complete details like bank name, account number, account holder name, account type and branch name will appear on the app.

Once you are registered, select the Cash Withdrawal option. Provide your address and you will be able to see bank branches within 10 km of your address. You then need to select the branch and select the time slot for cash delivery. 

After this, the service fee will get displayed on the screen. Click on 'OK' and then you will receive a message containing the name, number, etc. of the bank worker who will visit your house. 

You can also opt for other services provided by the bank under Doorstep Banking Services like non-financial services, cash deposit and digital life certificate facility.
