PM Kisan Yojana 18th Installment Released: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Saturday (October 5), released the 18th installment of PM Kisan Yojana to over 9.26 crore farmers. The announcement was made during his visit to Maharashtra.

PM Kisan Yojana 18th Installment: Support for Farmers

Nearly 1.20 crore farmers in Maharashtra have received approximately Rs 32,000 crore through the previous 17 installments. In the 18th installment alone, more than 9.4 crore farmers benefited from over Rs 20,000 crore. The Prime Minister will also release nearly Rs 2,000 crore for Maharashtra's farmers under the 5th installment of the Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana.

• Launched on February 24, 2019, the scheme provides annual support of Rs 6,000 to landholding farmers in three equal installments.
• Rs 2,000 is transferred to farmers' accounts every four months, totaling three installments.
