PM Kisan Yojana eKYC Deadline Alert: Today is the last day to complete the eKYC for the Modi government’s flagship scheme Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Beneficiaries who haven't completed their e-KYC yet are advised to do it soon as only few hours are left.

The last date to complete eKYC for PM Kisan Yojana is July 31, 2022. The deadline was earlier May 31 but the government later extended it to grant additional time to beneficiaries to complete their eKYC.

"Deadline of eKYC for all the PMKISAN beneficiaries has been extended till 31st July 2022," said the official website.

It is expected that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon release the 12th installment of PM Kisan Yojana or PM Kisan Scheme. However, the government made the eKYC mandatory for PM Kisan registered farmers.

"eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. OTP Based eKYC is available on PMKISAN Portal. or nearest CSC centres may be contacted for Biometric based eKYC," according to the official website of the scheme.

If you want to complete the PM Kisan e-KYC process, here's the step-by-step guide for you:
Step 1: Visit the official website - pmkisan.nic.in
Step 2: Click on ‘eKYC’ under the ‘Farmers Corner’ section
Step 3: Under the ‘OTP Based eKYC’ section, enter your Aadhaar number
Step 4: Click on ‘Search’
Step 5: Now enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and click on ‘Get OTP’
Step 6: Enter the OTP
Step 7: eKYC will be completed upon successful verification of the entered details

Under this scheme, all the landholding farmer families get three equal installments of Rs.2000 every four months in a year. Till now, 11 installments of PM Kisan Yojana have been received by the beneficiaries. Prime Minister Modi distributed the installment in May 2022. Soon the farmers are going to get the 12th installment of this scheme.
