PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana eKYC update last date: The Modi government’s flagship scheme Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana) has made the eKYC mandatory for all PM Kisan registered farmers. It is worth noting that today, August 31, is the last day for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana eKYC update, according to the official website.

Beneficiaries who haven't completed their eKYC yet are advised to do it soon as only few hours are left.

"Deadline of eKYC for all the PMKISAN beneficiaries has been extended till 31st August 2022," said the official website.

The government had earlier extended the deadline of July 31 to give beneficiaries more time to complete their eKYC. The government extended the deadline from May 31 to July 31 before.

It is expected that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon release the 12th installment of PM Kisan Yojana or PM Kisan Scheme. 

"eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. OTP Based eKYC is available on PMKISAN Portal. or nearest CSC centres may be contacted for Biometric based eKYC," according to the official website of the scheme.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana eKYC portal: How to update online 

PM Kisan e-KYC process:
Step 1: Visit the official website - pmkisan.nic.in
Step 2: Click on ‘eKYC’ under the ‘Farmers Corner’ section
Step 3: Under the ‘OTP Based eKYC’ section, enter your Aadhaar number
Step 4: Click on ‘Search’
Step 5: Now enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and click on ‘Get OTP’
Step 6: Enter the OTP
Step 7: eKYC will be completed upon successful verification of the entered details

Under this scheme, all the landholding farmer families get three equal installments of Rs 2000 every four months in a year. Till now, 11 installments of PM Kisan Yojana have been received by the beneficiaries. Prime Minister Modi distributed the installment in May 2022. The 12th installment will be released soon.
