PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Under the scheme that was launched during the Interim Union Budget in 2019, farmers will receive Rs 2,000 every four months, totaling Rs 6,000 per year. The beneficiaries receive the PM Kisan payment into their bank accounts in three equal instalments: April-July, August-November, and December-March.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Farmers who have registered under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana received their 16th installment of the welfare scheme on Wednesday, February 28.
Under the scheme that was launched during the Interim Union Budget in 2019, farmers will receive Rs 2,000 every four months, totaling Rs 6,000 per year. The beneficiaries receive the PM Kisan payment into their bank accounts in three equal instalments: April–July, August–November, and December–March.
Using their PAN card, Aadhaar card, or mobile number, beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can monitor the status of their installments.
Even though many farmers enrol in the PM Kisan Yojana, not all of them receive benefits from the programme. Rather, to qualify for PM Kisan installments, a few requirements must be fulfilled. The decision about whose name goes on the beneficiary list is made by the respective state governments.
To get benefits under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers must have finished their online KYC update. They can also search for their names in the village-by-village recipient list for PM Kisan.
